Karen Marie Jenkins is an advertising/commercial photography contributor for the internationally known iStock by Getty Images. She is a former college English Professor at Xavier University (Cincinnati) and Northern Kentucky University, and has a Master's in Humanities (Art) from Xavier University (Cincinnati). She is a former Arts and Culture writer and editor for the Cincinnati Herald Newspaper, Applause Magazine, blogger and Linkedin writer focusing on visual branding. She was a history intern at the Smithsonian Institute (Washington, DC) under Dr. Spencer Crew, and has published kid's fashion photography works featuring fashions from Isossy Clothing for Kids, a designer brand out of London, Emory James Clothing Company, England; FaithWork4U, Lemon Loves Lime, Matilda Jane Clothing, 4Love&$, Inc., The Spotted Goose (Cincinnati) and Play Like A Girl Campaign (Houston,Texas). Karen has taught Creative Photography workshops for kids at the Cincinnati School of Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) sponsored by Cincinnati Art's Association, where her kid's photography was featured and 99% purchased in a photography exhibit called The Elementz of Arts in Photography, curated by Karen Marie Jenkins. Karen has also taught Creative Photography for the University of Cincinnati's after school programs. All creative photography workshops combined Karen Marie's love of art, photography, creative/ editorial writing and kids.
